Objectives:

• Review primary care management of chronic COPD 
• Review different phenotypes of COPD 
• Review nonpharmacologic interventions to reduce COPD exacerbation risk 
• Review pharmacologic interventions to reduce COPD exacerbation risk, including macrolide therapy, phophodiesterase-inhibitors, and biologic therapy
