Abstract
Introduction: Spontaneous isolated celiac artery dissection (SICAD) is rare. Most patients are diagnosed incidentally on imaging and are asymptomatic. The celiac artery and its branches supply vital organs so it is imperative to recognize early to potentially lethal sequelae. Here, we present a case of spontaneous isolated celiac artery dissection in a fifty-nine year old male.
