Abstract
It Ain’t Easy Bein’ Wheezy: A Review and Updates on Asthma. Christina Bach, MD
Objectives:
- Review that asthma is not a static diagnosis and needs constant re-evaluation
- Will address new guidelines in asthma in the last few years with significant change in initiation of therapy
- Examine new add-on therapies available for uncontrolled asthma
- Evaluate patients for asthma and appropriately initiate and manage treatment based on current practice guidelines
- Recognize new add-on therapies for asthma, how they work, and when to utilize them
