Abstract
OCT for Optic Neuropathies, Martin Long, MBA, Director of Professional Education at Heidelberg Engineering.
Martin Long is an MBA business graduate with 44 years’ experience in ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical instruments.
He has worked with Keeler, Allergan-Humphrey, Zeiss, Haag-Streit and most of all Heidelberg Engineering, where he has been for the past 23 years in positions of Head of International Sales & Marketing, US General Manager, Area Director Europe and now Director of Professional Education. He has a worldwide experience of ophthalmology, especially in glaucoma and imaging. Martin is part of the Heidelberg Academy and supports education events teaching the clinical use of Spectralis OCT for retina, glaucoma and other applications and more recently Anterion for Anterior Segment imaging and analysis. He represents Heidelberg Engineering at World Glaucoma Association.
